FILTRATION & CARBONICATION
Fundamental process, filtration can be divided into:
-
High Suspended solids content filtration: traditionally, this type of filtration is performed by using filtration aids (fossil flours). In this case, we apply press filters or vacuum rotating drum filters. This method has been revolutionised by ceramic membranes, a technology based on a filter made up of porous ceramic discs where the use of filtration aids is not required. The discs are regenerable thanks to a simple cleaning process.
-
Filtration of already clarified or decanted liquids: filtration method based on the use of filtration aids (fossil flours). We apply both horizontal and vertical disk filters, with manual discharge for small applications or with automatic discharge for industrial processes. As an alternative to aids, tangential filters allow to obtain the same result using organic porous filtration membranes
-
Filtration or polishing of finished products: performed through the use of filter sheets or cartridges, both disposable in filtration housings and regenerable in front filters.
